Dan Martinez

Dan Martinez is the VP of Team Operations for the Atlanta Hawks. Dan has over 20 years of experience in media relations and public relations, working with some of the biggest names in sports. Dan began their career with the San Francisco Giants in 1997, before moving on to the Golden State Warriors in 2001.

During their time with the Warriors, Dan established himself as a leader in the field of social media marketing, running successful campaigns that engaged new and social media outlets. Dan also has a wealth of experience in event management, and has successfully organized events for both small and large groups.

In their current role with the Hawks, Dan is responsible for overseeing all team operations, including player development, scouting, and analytics. Dan also works closely with the front office on all business operations, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, and community outreach.

Dan Martinez studied communications at the University of California, Davis. Dan earned a B.A. in this field.
