Nikia Bynum-Whitaker

Nikia Bynum-Whitaker has extensive experience in event strategy and membership engagement within the sports industry. Currently serving as the Director of Event Strategy & Experience for the Atlanta Hawks since January 2011, Nikia has progressed through various roles including Senior Manager and Manager of Membership Engagement & Events, as well as Senior Coordinator of Ticket Sales. Prior to this, experience included positions at the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers, and Philips Arena from 2005 to 2010, where Nikia worked in sales and marketing. Earlier career roles include a Sales and Marketing Assistant for Nets Basketball and internships with Norfolk Admirals and Norfolk Tides Baseball Club. Nikia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Hampton University.
