Whitney Wood

Whitney Wood is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as a Personal Chef at Atlanta Personal Chef Service since October 2023 and as Culinary Director at Recess since September 2021. Previous roles include Executive Chef at True Food Kitchen from September 2019 to September 2021, and various chef positions at notable establishments such as The Hotel at Avalon, Hillstone Restaurant Group, and Fairways of Canton. Whitney also gained experience as a Line Cook at Buckhead Life Restaurant Group and a Production and Lead Line Cook at Boshamps Oyster House. Prior to a culinary career, Whitney served as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force from 2009 to 2012. Education includes studies at the Community College of the Air Force and Reinhardt University.
