Katarzyna Zysk

Katarzyna Zysk is a distinguished academic and expert in security policy, currently serving as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Sciences Po and as a core group member of the Transatlantic Forum on Russia at the Center for a New American Security. Zysk is also a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council's Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security and an expert group member of the International Military Council on Climate and Security. With a long-standing career at the Institutt for forsvarsstudier/Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies since 2007, Zysk has held various roles, including full professor and director of research. Additional influential positions include advisory board member for the Transatlantic Deterrence Dialogue Initiative and acting dean at the Norwegian Defence University College. Zysk's academic influence has extended internationally, with visiting roles at prestigious institutions such as the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and the University of Oxford.
