Lloyd Whitman

Lloyd Whitman is a prominent leader in science and technology policy, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Whitman Advisors LLC since September 2024, where strategic advice is provided across various sectors including nanotechnology and artificial intelligence. In addition to this role, Lloyd Whitman holds positions as a Senior Advisor and Fellow at the Atlantic Council and Senior Director of the GeoTech Center. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where guidance on research plans and programs was provided, and multiple leadership roles in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, including Principal Assistant Director for Physical Sciences and Engineering.
