Robert Bassett Cross

Robert Bassett Cross is a seasoned leader in strategy and security with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Since September 2015, Robert has served as the Founder and CEO of Adarga Limited. Additionally, in June 2024, Robert transitioned to an academic role as an Honorary Research Fellow at the Strategy and Security Institute at the University of Exeter. Robert also holds the position of Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security since November 2022. Prior to these roles, Robert founded and chaired Capstar Group from 2013. Robert's professional background includes investment banking at J.P. Morgan from 2008 to 2013 and a decade of service as an Infantry Officer in the British Army from 1999 to 2008. Robert graduated with an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Exeter in 1999.
