Abbey Arwady

Abbey Arwady, LCSW, has extensive experience in social work and mental health, currently serving as a Hospice Social Worker at Atlantic Health System since September 2019, where responsibilities include providing emotional support and counseling to patients and families facing terminal illness. Additionally, Abbey has been a Mental Health Clinician at The Center for Enhanced Living since July 2015, offering therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults using various therapeutic techniques. Prior to these roles, Abbey worked as a Social Services Specialist at Genesis from December 2015 to April 2018, focusing on enhancing patient well-being, and as the Director of Youth Development at Somerset Hills YMCA from June 2011 to June 2013, managing youth programs. Abbey's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from Boston College and a Master of Science in Special Education from the University of Scranton, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the same institution.
