Christopher Eckman

Christopher Eckman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of biomedical research and neonatology. As the Founder and Managing Director of the Biomedical Research Institute of New Jersey since July 2013, Christopher has played a pivotal role in advancing medical research. In addition, Christopher serves as the Managing Director and Director of Research at MidAtlantic Neonatology Associates and as the Director of Translational Research at Atlantic Health, both positions held since 2010. Prior to these roles, Christopher was a Professor of Neuroscience at the Mayo Clinic from 1996 to 2010. Christopher earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology and Child Development from Connecticut College.
