Rakesh Babu

Rakesh Babu is a seasoned professional in pharmacy informatics and data engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Pharmacy Informatics and Data Engineering at Atlantic Health System since June 2017. Rakesh has held various titles within the organization, including Senior Pharmacy Informaticist and Data Scientist. Additionally, Rakesh is the President of the Board of Directors for Summit Chorale from March 2019 to March 2025 and has experience as an Adjunct Professor in Pharmacy Informatics at Fairleigh Dickinson University from January 2016 to May 2020. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Sacred Music at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and Lead Pharmacist, Informatics at Atlantic Health. Rakesh began a career in tech support at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where roles included Computer Science LCSR Student Operator and Mathematics Computer Services Helpdesk. Rakesh holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Rutgers University, obtained between 2007 and 2013.
