Sara Edwards

Sara Edwards, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Accounting Strategy at Atlantic Union Bank since September 2017, bringing extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting policy. Previous positions at Atlantic Union Bank include Manager of SEC Financial Reporting and SOX and Accounting Policy Analyst. Prior to this role, Sara worked at Pacific Life as a Senior Investment Accountant from April 2015 to September 2017 and gained experience at Ernst & Young as part of the Financial Services Assurance team from October 2011 to April 2015. Sara began the professional journey as a Staff Accountant in Assurance at Windes & McClaughry Accountancy Corporation in early 2010. Sara holds a Master of Accounting from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, earned in 2011, and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from William & Mary, completed in 2009.
