Saswati Khandat

Saswati Khandat has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Saswati began their career in 2010 as a Human Resources Intern at Lumber Liquidators, where they analyzed recruitment practices and assisted with change management. Saswati then worked at Genworth Financial, Inc. from 2011 to 2017, initially as an HR Analyst and later as a Senior HR Client Manager. At Genworth, they focused on mortgage insurance and long-term care insurance. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Senior HR Business Partner at ChemTreat, a leading industrial water and process treatment company. In this role, they advised executive leaders on various HR matters and collaborated with the broader HR team on talent development programs and services. Since 2018, they have been a part of Atlantic Union Bank, where they initially served as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) HR Business Partner and currently serves as a Vice President (VP) HR Business Partner.

Saswati Khandat obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Consulting and Marketing from the William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, spanning from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they acquired a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
