Dr Sumaira Malik, PhD

Dr Sumaira Malik, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. Dr Sumaira started their career in 2009 as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham, where they worked until December 2010. In 2011, they joined the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate for a brief period of time, from April to September. Later that year, they joined Atlantis Healthcare, where they currently hold the position of Senior Health Psychology Specialist since September 2011. In 2013, they also took on the role of Visiting Lecturer at King's College London, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Dr. Sumaira Malik, PhD, has a strong academic background in psychology. Dr Sumaira obtained their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loughborough University in 2002, followed by a Master's Degree in Psychological Research Methods from the University of Nottingham in 2006. Dr. Malik then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Psychology from the University of Nottingham in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Malik has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. These certifications include "Excel: Creating Business Budgets," "Learning Metadata for Book Publishing," "Python for Non-Programmers," and "OSINT Essential Training," all obtained from LinkedIn in 2023. Dr Sumaira is also a Certified Internet Research Specialist (CIRS), awarded by the Association of Internet Research Specialists | AOFIRS. Furthermore, Dr. Malik holds the designations of Chartered Psychologist & Associate Fellow from The British Psychological Society and Chartered Scientist from the Science Council.
