Freisha Patel

Freisha Patel serves as the Conservation and Education Manager at Atlantis Resorts since April 2022, focusing on sustainability initiatives. Prior experience includes a Junior Researcher role at BBC Studios, contributing to a landmark Natural History series, and an HE Teacher at Derby College, where Freisha prepared and delivered higher education courses in Zoo and Wildlife Management. From July 2018 to July 2020, Freisha coordinated research and conservation activities at Twycross Zoo, and held the position of Education Officer at West Midlands Safari Park, delivering accredited Animal Care courses. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Animal Health and Welfare and a BSc (Hons) in Zoo Biology from Nottingham Trent University, complemented by multiple research and internship roles in marine and wildlife studies.
