Walt Vargas

Walt Vargas, SHRM-SCP, has over 25 years of experience in human resources, currently serving as Sr. Director Human Resources & Sr. HRBP at Atlas Air since June 2005. Prior roles at Atlas Air include Director of Human Resources and Sr. HRBP, as well as Director of Human Resources. Previous experience includes positions as a Human Resources Generalist at Fremont Investment and Loan and Corporate Recruiter at Westcon Group. Walt Vargas began a career in recruitment and contracts management at Allegis Group from 1998 to 2001. Walt Vargas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from St. Thomas Aquinas College, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
