Felix Maier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Felix started their career at Daimler in 1999 as an International Management Associate. In 2001, they joined ec4ec GmbH as a Manager of Product Development. From 2003 to 2015, Maier worked at Atlas Copco Tools Central Europe GmbH, where they held various roles including Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, and Geschäftsführer MVI. In 2016, they returned to Atlas Copco as the Vice President of Global Projects. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Global Operations.

Felix Maier has a diverse education history. Felix began their studies at the Gymnasium from 1983 to 1992, where they obtained their Abitur. Felix then pursued a First diploma in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart from 1993 to 1995. Following this, they attended ETH Zürich from 1995 to 1999, earning a Diploma in Mech. Engineering (Dipl. Ing.). During their time at ETH Zürich, they also spent a year at Coventry University from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of European Engineering with Honours. Finally, in 1998 and 1999, they pursued a Diploma Thesis in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University.
