Max Verhofstede

Max Verhofstede is an experienced engineer with a strong background in process and manufacturing engineering. At Atlas Copco from April 2020 to September 2021, Max held the positions of Project Engineer Logistics and Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for portable air products, while troubleshooting and resolving production disturbances. Prior experience includes working as a Process Engineer at Total Olefins Antwerp NV from January 2015 to April 2020, providing process optimization and support for a steam cracker, and as a Junior Process Engineer involved in multidisciplinary CAPEX projects. An apprentice role at TOTAL and an international internship at Hitachi enriched early career experience. Max holds a Master's degree in Energy and Processes from IFP School and a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from Ghent University.
