Doug Newton

Doug Newton has over two decades of work experience in the technology industry. Doug'smost recent position is as the Director of Application Development & Architecture at Atlas Digital Group since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked for Altice USA (Formerly Suddenlink Communications) for 12 years, starting as the Principal System Architect / Director IT in April 2008. Before that, they were an Enterprise / SOA / Application Architecture Consultant at Bradford & Galt from February 2007 to November 2014. Doug also served as a Software Architect at Aclara and Express Scripts and worked as a Software Architecture Consultant at Ciber. Earlier in their career, they held various software consultant roles at Technology Partners and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Doug Newton obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991. Doug continued their education at the same institution and earned a Ph.D. in Particle Physics in 1995.
