Tim L'Hommedieu

SVP, Pharmacy at Atlas Health

Tim L'Hommedieu is the SVP of Pharmacy at Atlas Health. Prior to this, they were the Director of Pharmaceutical Services at BayCare Health System from February 2014 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic direction, clinical, financial, and operational services of 9+ hospitals, ambulatory and population health pharmacy services. This included overseeing 300+ FTEs (leadership, pharmacists, technicians, support staff), as well as developing and implementing pharmacy ambulatory strategic plans.

Under their leadership, the pharmacy team was able to reduce hospital Medicare readmissions by more than 20% across the enterprise. Tim also successfully on-boarded and integrated three acquired hospitals (Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven Women’s Hospital, Bartow Regional Medical Center) into the BayCare system. Additionally, they led a pharmacist-driven population health initiative that reduced uncontrolled diabetes by more than 70% for 3,800 patients.

L'Hommedieu has been recognized as a visionary leader in the healthcare industry. Tim has a deep commitment to providing quality care and improving patient outcomes. Tim is a strong advocate for the role of pharmacists in population health management and is constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the delivery of care.

Tim L'Hommedieu has a Doctorate in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University, a Masters in Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University.
