Lee Powell

Lee Powell has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Mining Manager and Site Manager at Atlas Iron Pty Ltd since September 2021. Previously, Lee held the position of Mining Superintendent at both Gascoyne Resources Ltd and Mineral Resources Limited, with tenure at Gascoyne from June 2020 to March 2022 and at Mineral Resources from August 2020 to August 2021. Lee also spent 14 years at Watpac Limited as a Project Manager before a notable career in the Australian Army, serving as an Infantry Sergeant in the 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, from February 1996 to September 2006, which included two deployments to East Timor and a role as an instructor at the School of Infantry. Lee completed education at Castlemaine High School from 1991 to 1995.
