Lawson R. Bader

Lawson R. Bader serves as President & CEO of DonorsTrust since November 2015, leading a community foundation that supports charities promoting civic concerns and personal responsibility. Bader has been a member of the Board of Directors for both the State Policy Network and Atlas Network since October and September 2016, respectively. Previously, Bader was the President of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, managing a budget of $7 million and a staff of 33 from October 2012 to November 2015. Bader's earlier roles include Vice President and Director of Economic Education at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and various positions at SRI International, including Government Relations Manager. Bader holds a Master of Arts in Government and Public Policy from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Wheaton College.
