Javier Álvarez Saiz

Javier Álvarez Saiz has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Javier started their career at Grupo ENSA as a Jefe de Obra Eléctrico, where they were responsible for the execution of solar power plant projects. Javier then worked at Astilleros de Huelva as a Jefe de Buque, managing Ro-Ro vessels. Following this, they joined Astilleros de Sevilla as a Técnico Planta y Mantenimiento, where they worked in plant maintenance.

In 2011, Javier moved to MONCOBRA SA as the Jefe Logística HUC, overseeing logistics and personnel for the Hook-Up & Commissioning services for Castor Underground Storage development. Javier also served as a Montador tubería climatización PPR at ONUREPASAZ, working on the installation of plastic piping for a hotel project.

Javier then transitioned to ATA Renewables, where they held several roles as a Supervisor and Coordinator for electrical works in both BT and MT. Javier continued their career as an Ingeniero de proyectos at DA consultores, providing support to the Engineering Department of SunEdison LatAm.

Currently, Javier is working at Atlas Renewable Energy as an Engineering Manager, responsible for managing and overseeing engineering projects.

Throughout their career, Javier has gained experience in project management, electrical supervision, logistics, and maintenance. Javier has worked with various clients in the renewable energy sector, contributing to the successful execution of multiple projects.

From 1991 to 1997, they attended I.F.P. Vicente Rodríguez Casado in La Rábida, Huelva. During this period, they obtained a Formación Profesional grado I y II degree, specializing in Mantenimiento mecánico.
