Katie Harms has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Katie started their career at Murex Petroleum Corporation as a Land Technician from February 2011 to March 2013. Katie then joined Swift Energy Company as a Landman, where they were involved in various projects in Central and South Louisiana, as well as Niobrara in Colorado and Eagle Ford in South Texas. During their time at Swift Energy Company from March 2013 to March 2016, Katie's responsibilities included negotiating oil & gas leases, performing due diligence, title curative, and maintaining lease agreements.

In 2016, Katie Harms joined Mobilitie as a Network Real Estate Permitting Manager until August 2018. In this role, they managed permitting processes for network real estate projects. Katie concluded their time at Jacobs as a Market Manager from December 2022 to May 2023.

Currently, Katie Harms is employed at Atlas Tower Group as a Business Development and Territory Manager since May 2023.

Katie Harms began their education in 2006 at Western Carolina University, where they pursued a degree in General Studies. However, it is not specified whether they completed this degree. From 2007 to 2010, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder and obtained a degree in International Affairs, focusing on Political Science, Economics, and Law. In June 2012, they earned the Registered Professional Landman certification from the American Association of Professional Landmen.
