Pascal Fortin

Pascal Fortin is an accomplished scientific leader with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Entrepreneur-in-Residence and President and Chief Scientific Officer at Atlas Venture since October 2024, Pascal previously held multiple senior roles at Relay Therapeutics from April 2016 to September 2024, culminating as Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President. At Relay, Pascal focused on leveraging protein motion to accelerate the development of transformative medicines. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where Pascal oversaw oncology small molecule drug discovery and molecular pharmacology. Pascal Fortin holds a PhD in Microbiology and Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Biochemistry at Harvard Medical School.
