Matt Lerner

Matt Lerner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Matt currently holds the role of Vice President, Global Finance at Atlas since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SMS Assist, L.L.C. where they held various positions including Vice President - Affiliate Strategy & Operations, Vice President Business Analytics, Vice President Client Analytics, Director Of Implementation, and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Before joining SMS Assist, L.L.C., Matt worked at UBS Global Asset Management as an Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, and as a Financial Analyst. Matt also gained experience at Coca-Cola Enterprises as a Sr. Financial Analyst and at Deloitte as a Research Analyst.

Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, strategic management, and operational performance reporting. Matt has successfully implemented cost controls, improved expense approval processes, and developed standardized budget and forecast processes. Additionally, Matt has experience in vendor sourcing, client analytics, and onboarding new clients.

Matt Lerner completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance at the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 1999 to 2003. Later, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued their Master in Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, focusing on Finance, Economics, Econometrics & Statistics.
