Nat Futterman

Nat Futterman is a Site Reliability Engineer at Atlassian, where they manage database infrastructure and implement automation for development teams. With a strong self-taught background in Linux, Nat has extensive experience in production environments, having previously served as a Systems Engineer at Opower and a Project Coordinator at Freeman, Sullivan, and Co. They hold a BA with honors in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley, and have a research focus on the role of information and communication technologies in international development. They have also contributed to mobile phone access initiatives in rural Uganda through their work with Question Box.
