Ruchi Ookalkar

Ruchi Ookalkar is a Senior Product Designer at Atlassian, specializing in the design of AI-driven conversational and code review experiences for Bitbucket, where notable achievements include re-architecting the pull request experience to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Prior to Atlassian, Ruchi held various design roles at Sumo Logic, contributing to user experience strategies for Tracing, Observability, and Dashboard products, and establishing collaboration processes within agile teams. Earlier roles included a Product Design Intern position at Sumo Logic and UI Engineer roles at Flipkart, alongside research work at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Ruchi holds a Master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
