Nouroddin Sotoudeh Chafi

Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at AtlasXomics

Nouroddin Sotoudeh Chafi has a long work experience that spans from 2008 to the present. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Process Engineer at the Iranian Offshore Oil Company, and also as a University Lecturer at both the Islamic Azad University of Mahshahr and the Islamic Azad University of Omidieh. From 2010 to 2015, they fulfilled their military service at the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) of Iran. In 2015, they began their PhD Researcher role at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). In 2019, they took on the role of Postdoctoral Associate at the University at Buffalo, and in 2020 they became a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Currently, they are a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at AtlasXomics Inc.

Nouroddin Sotoudeh Chafi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Medicinal Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which they obtained in 2019. Nouroddin also holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology in Ahwaz, Iran, which they obtained in 2007. Nouroddin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Mazandaran University in Babol, Iran in 2005. Nouroddin also has additional certifications, including R Programming from Johns Hopkins University on Coursera, which they obtained in July 2019, and Python Programming for biological Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
