Petru Arakiss

Petru Arakiss has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of web development. Petru has held various roles in different companies, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative frontend and backend solutions.

From 2021 onwards, Petru has been working as the Head of Frontend Platform at Atlax 360. In this role, they lead a team of developers and UX/UI professionals, responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's frontend platform.

Prior to this, Petru worked as a Frontend Lead Architect at Sopra Steria, SOLUNION, and Bankinter, where they led teams in designing and implementing frontend solutions for banking institutions. Petru also worked as a Backend Lead Architect at PagoFX and El Corte Inglés, focusing on backend infrastructure and communication with the frontend.

Before that, Petru gained experience as a Frontend Lead Architect at Decathlon España, creating modular and scalable architectures using Angular. Petru also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Pullmantur, where they worked with various technologies and frameworks, including early versions of Vue.

During their early career, Petru worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Dimensional Webs, gaining exposure to a wide variety of technologies and frameworks, including early versions of Symfony. Petru began their career as a Freelance Developer, developing their skills in web development from 2006.

Petru Arakiss completed a Professional Training Program in Computer and Network Systems Operation at the Instituto Salvador Allende from 2005 to 2006. The field of study was Engineering Informatics. In addition to this program, Petru Arakiss also obtained two certifications in Node.js Application Development and Node.js Services Development from The Linux Foundation in June 2021 and September 2021 respectively.
