Daniel Eg Morton

Daniel EG Morton is an experienced fundraising consultant with a focus on non-profit sectors including refugees, technology for development, disaster management, and water, sanitation, and hygiene. Since January 2017, Daniel has operated Daniel Morton Grant Writing & Consulting. In addition, contributions to Atma Connect and FUCAPE Business School involve program development and revisions of English articles for a prominent Brazilian academic journal, respectively. Daniel led the grants team at Simbi Foundation until June 2023 and served as a grant and proposal writer at PeaceGeeks, securing funding from notable organizations such as Google and the United Nations. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Simon Fraser University, a Certificate in Grant and Proposal Writing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Diploma in Journalism from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
