Alexander Hatton

Alexander Hatton is a seasoned ecologist with extensive experience in ecology and environmental management. Since October 2015, Alexander has served as Technical Director at Atmos Consulting Ltd, contributing to various consultancy aspects, including protected species surveys, project management, and habitat management plans. Previous roles include Commons Development Officer at Menter Mon and self-employed Ecologist, where Alexander conducted surveys for various species including bats, great crested newts, and water voles. Additionally, Alexander held positions with the North Wales Biodiversity Project, the Central Science Laboratory, and the Department of Conservation in New Zealand. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Edinburgh Napier University and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Aberystwyth University.
