Chung-Chiu Lai

Chung-Chiu Lai has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Chung-Chiu began their career in 1997 as a System Engineer at NEC, where they co-developed the New Banking Terminal with NEC Japan. In 2000, they worked as a Software Engineer at Billionton Systems Inc (6172), where they developed Ethernet/Modem combo device driver. That same year, they worked as an Electronic Engineer at PSTI Technology, designing electronic circuits for control boards. From 2001 to 2015, they worked at Gemtek Technologies Co. Ltd, beginning as a Senior Engineer, where they implemented Digital Home Service in Windows phone (Win CE). Chung-Chiu then became a Manager, managing two engineers to develop the SDS (Web Filter and Email Security) and Content Filter in kernel mode. Chung-Chiu was then promoted to Deputy Director, where they cooperated with Cisco engineers to develop Ponderoso 2 project (C860VAE series) in Cisco IOS and Linux. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Airoha Technology Corp. as a Technical Manager, where they implemented Apple HomeKit Accessory Protocol to Andes N7/N8 platform. Currently, they are a Senior Manager at Atmosic Technologies.

Chung-Chiu Lai obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National United University between 1993 and 1995. Chung-Chiu then went on to receive a Master's degree in Computer Science from National Central University between 2005 and 2008. Finally, Chung-Chiu Lai completed their Doctor Program in the Institute of Communications Engineering at National Tsing Hua University between 2010 and 2012.
