Joe Jamp

Joe Jamp has worked in the technology industry since 2007. Joe began their career at Atheros Communications as a Senior MTS - Systems, where they were responsible for bring up, RF tuning and algorithms tuning for the Bluetooth System-on-Chips. Joe was a key member in taking the first generation Bluetooth products through production, and worked with the Field Application Engineers to debug customer issues. Joe also led the bring up efforts through production of the next generation of Bluetooth products, including combo-products.

In 2011, Joe moved to Qualcomm Atheros Inc. as a Senior Staff Engineer and then Staff Engineer. As a Staff Engineer, they were responsible for feature validation and performance tuning of QCA's 802. 11ac SoCs, starting from pre-silicon feature validation in simulation and emulation, through post-silicon hardware validation, and through systems performance tuning of the entire solution (host SW + firmware + SoC + hardware module + host platform hardware). Joe also resolved issues raised by customers.

In 2018, Joe joined Atmosic Technologies as a Senior Manager.

Joe Jamp received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 1997 and 2001. Joe then went on to receive a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego between 2001 and 2007.
