Seung Baek Yi

Seung Baek Yi has over 25 years of professional experience in software engineering and technology management. In 1996, they began their career as a Lead Engineer at Data I/O. In 1997, they joined BlueWaterSystems as a Senior Software Engineer and was later acquired by BSquare Corporation in 2000, where they worked as a Software Architect. In 2003, they co-founded Codetelligence, Inc. and served as the Chief Technologist. In 2006, they joined Atheros Communications as a Principal Software Engineer and Technology Manager and was later acquired by Qualcomm in 2011, where they worked as a Principal Engineer and Manager. In 2015, they joined Ignition Design Labs as a Sr. Director of Engineering at SKSpruce Technologies and managed the development of radio resource management systems using big data and machine learning. In 2019, they returned to Atmosic Technologies as a Software Developer and in 2020 took a leave of absence to serve as a Stay-at-Home Parent until in-person learning resumed. In 2021, they rejoined Atmosic Technologies as the Sr. Director of Technology.

Seung Baek Yi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applied Optics from Kettering University between 1991 and 1995.
