Sid Sahgal

Sid Sahgal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sid is currently serving as the VP Product at Atom Finance since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Lead Product Manager for Digital Banking at Grab from 2021 to 2022. From 2020 to 2021, Sahgal worked as a Product Manager at Hydrogen, where they managed the development of B2B card-issuing and brokerage products. Before that, they were the Head of Product and Co-Founder at Macrovue from 2014 to 2020, contributing to the rapid growth of the consumer-investment platform. Sahgal started their career as a Quant Analyst at Banc of America Securities from 2007 to 2009. Sid also gained experience in software engineering at Honeywell Aerospace, leading a team of software engineers and developing avionics systems for business jets from 2000 to 2005.

Sid Sahgal has an extensive education history. Sid first attended the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSCF). Following this, Sahgal pursued their academic journey at UNSW from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a PhD in Finance. Lastly, in the earlier years of their education, from 1997 to 2000, Sahgal attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Furthermore, Sahgal has also attained a certification in Venture Deals from NovoEd in August 2020.
