Myrto Kontouli has been working in the tech industry since 2013. Myrto began their career as a Web Developer at WebOutreach, where they developed responsive, cross-browser compatible sites full-stack* to match design specifications. Myrto also provided technical support via phone, email and written/video tutorials. In 2016, they moved to 999 Design as a Web Developer, where they developed high quality websites for clients on time, working in multiple team arrangements (front-end/back-end), as well as a single entity (full-stack* entire website build). Myrto also promoted responsible code, performance and a11y standards within the organisation, and mentored and assisted team members on best practices. In 2018, Myrto joined Equator as a User Interface Developer, where they provided front-end development support across multiple projects, time scoping, sprint planning and developing new features. Myrto also collaborated within a team of IntDevs to develop multiple UI components for one of Equator's biggest clients, and documented component functionality, delivering components on time, in sprints. In 2019, they moved to Markup as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed new functionality and components for the hunterboots.com website, always considering reusability, performance and a11y. Myrto also reviewed designs, clarified and assessed designer/client expectations, and then delivered and documented highly customisable components as part of the website's redesign project in 2021. Myrto is currently working as a Frontend Developer at Atom Learning.
Myrto Kontouli attended Lancaster and Morecambe College from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Level 3 in Web Application Specialist (Apprenticeship).
