Ervin M. has a varied work experience. In 2015, they worked as a Medical Technologist at CHI Memorial, where they tested and ran specimens for diagnosing diseases. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Open Source. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Volkswagen of America, Inc., where they designed, implemented and tested a data ingestion pipe that combs, parses, normalizes and massages a large volume of raw plant data. In 2018, they worked as Kitchen Staff at Mojo Burrito. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mercury Insurance and goPuff, respectively. At Mercury Insurance, they implemented, tested, maintained and improved large-scale ingestion and search microservices and applications. At goPuff, they built, maintained, improved and tested microservices responsible for serving ads and tracking ad events. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Atom Tickets, where they are building backend microservices that support ingestion, ticketing, point-of-sales (POS), loyalty, discovery, and ad tracking. Ervin also implemented Google Ads and 3rd party marketing plugins and did database transactions for ops team requests, on-call observability duties for the app, design and architecture proposals with the VP of Engineering.
