Dmitri Choutov is the current Vice President of Engineering at Atomera. Dmitri has held this position since November 2015. Prior to this, they were the Director of Product Management at Lam Research from October 2014 to November 2015. From October 2011 to September 2014, they were the VP Technology at Crocus Technology/Crocusnano. From July 1999 to January 2010, they were a Sr. Scientist/Director at Maxim Integrated. From April 1997 to July 1999, they were a Staff Engineer at National Semiconductor. In January 2010, they became the Co-Founder and CTO of Luxera, Inc., where they remained until October 2011. Dmitri began their career as a research associate at the Institute of Applied Physics from May 1987 to December 1993.

Dmitri Choutov's educational career includes a postdoc in process development at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in nonlinear optics of semiconductor surfaces from the Institute of Applied Physics, and an M.S. in physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
