Thierry Wendling

Thierry Wendling has a diverse work experience. Thierry is currently working as the Head of AI/ML at Atomi since 2022. Previously, they worked at Domain from 2018 to 2022 in various roles including AI Platform Lead, Principal Data Scientist, and Data Scientist. Before that, they worked at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation from 2016 to 2018 as a Research Data Scientist, focusing on applying machine learning to healthcare databases. Thierry also has experience working at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where they were a PhD candidate in Pharmacometrics from 2013 to 2015 and worked on developing mathematical and statistical models for drug prediction. Prior to that, Thierry completed their Master's thesis in Clinical Pharmacology at Novartis from 2012 to 2012, where they performed pharmacokinetic analysis and developed mathematical models. Thierry began their career as a Pharmacy Intern at AP-HP/Saint Antoine hospital from 2010 to 2011. Overall, Thierry has a strong background in AI/ML, data science, and pharmacology.

Thierry obtained a State Diploma of Doctor of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Université Paris Cité, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Quantitative Pharmacology at the same university, completing it from 2008 to 2012.

Additionally, Thierry pursued a PhD in Pharmacometrics at The University of Manchester from 2013 to 2016. Thierry obtained their PhD in Pharmacometrics from The University of Manchester in December 2015.

Thierry also holds several certifications. Thierry obtained a certification in Financial Markets from Coursera in April 2020. In June 2017, they completed a certification in Neural Networks for Machine Learning from Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained a PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree from Université Paris Descartes in December 2014.
