Mrutunjay Tiwari

Mrutunjay Tiwari currently serves as the Head of AI/ML at JioSaavn, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mrutunjay was a Principal Data Scientist at HERE Technologies from January 2023 to November 2023, focusing on fusing sensor data in the geospatial domain for map creation and updates using AI/ML. Mrutunjay also held the position of Director of Data Science at OYO from December 2020 to January 2023, and was a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart Labs between April 2018 and December 2020, where responsibilities included leading ML solutions for pricing and operations. Earlier experience includes a role as Lead Data Scientist / AVP at Barclays Investment Bank from September 2015 to April 2018, acting as the data science point-of-contact for collections and lending operations across international markets. Mrutunjay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, earned in May 2009.
