Kshitij Gurung

Kshitij Gurung has held various roles in the past few years. In 2020, they worked as a Software and Data Analyst for Atomic Data, a Data Analyst and Research Intern for System Modeling Institute, and a Participant for Pillars of Wall Street. From 2016 to 2019, they were employed at St. Olaf College, where they held the roles of Data Analyst & Statistical Consultant, Center for Interdisciplinary Research, Resident Assistant, Technology Consulting Assistant, Sales Associate, and Research Analyst. In 2019, they were a Biostatistics Collaborative Researcher at Mayo Clinic. During their time as a Research Analyst at St. Olaf College, they cleaned and analyzed Medicare Claims Data to study hospital readmission for Medicare patients in the U.S., investigated the association between hospital readmission and factors such as age, race, sex, various diseases, and comorbidity score by using advanced statistical modeling in R, and developed several models to predict readmission by stratifying the data according to major readmission causing diseases.

Kshitij Gurung completed their high school education at Budhanilkantha School from 2013 to 2015. Kshitij then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics & Data Science at St. Olaf College, graduating in 2020 with a GPA of 3.64. Kshitij has also obtained several certifications, including The Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie North Central US in November 2022, Machine Learning with Python from Coursera in November 2021, and several certifications from LinkedIn and Microsoft.
