Gene Burk has extensive work experience in the field of MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems). Gene has worked as a Quasi retires again at MEMS Consulting Services since November 2017. Prior to that, they were a MEMS Technology Consultant at Innovative Micro Technology starting from September 2012.

Gene served as a Member of the Advisory Board at MANCEF from 1998 onwards, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award in MEMS in October 2014. From January 2012 to August 2012, they worked as MEMS New Business Development at SVTC Technologies.

Gene Burk also has a strong background in sales and marketing roles. Gene served as the CEO - Consultant at MEMS Consulting Services from January 2008 to December 2011. Before that, they were a Consultant at Rohm and Haas in 2007 and held the position of MEMS Sales and Marketing Manager at DALSA from 2002 to 2006.

Gene worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Standard MEMS from June 1999 to May 2002. Gene also served as a Sales Manager at Sentir Semiconductor from 1998 to 2001.

Additionally, Gene Burk has a long tenure as a Director at IC Sensors from 1982 to 1992. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in MEMS technology, sales, marketing, and consulting.

Gene Burk obtained a Bachelor's degree in Math & Physics from the University of Minnesota from 1964 to 1969. Following this, from 1977 to 1981, they pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at San Jose State University.
