Josephine Hoesel is a visiting research scientist at Imperial College London and a visiting scientist at The Francis Crick Institute, both positions held since October 2023, alongside a PhD student role at King's College London. Research focuses on mathematical and computational modeling in immunology, specifically investigating B-cell microvilli deformation for receptor-antigen binding. Previous experience includes tutoring math and science at MyTutor.co.uk, conducting summer research internships at the Royal Society of Chemistry and the University of Exeter, and gaining a master's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Exeter. Josephine also holds master's degrees in Health Sciences and Technology from ETH Zürich and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Zurich, as well as A-levels and GCSEs from St Augustine's Priory.
