James Cody

James Cody has over 20 years of work experience in various finance and consulting roles. James currently holds the position of CFO at ATOMOS since June 2017. Prior to this, James worked as a Principal at Henslow Pty Ltd, an independent advisory firm. James was responsible for supporting and partnering with growing companies, entrepreneurs, managers, and investors. James also worked as an Independent Consultant before joining Henslow Pty Ltd.

From 2009 to 2013, James served as the CFO of Funtastic, a publicly listed Australian company. James managed a turnover in excess of $200 million and EBITDA of over $20 million. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Finance Director at REDgroup Retail (formerly A&R Whitcoulls Group) from 2004 to 2009.

James has also worked at WHSmith Aspac as a Financial Controller from 2002 to 2004. Before that, they held multiple roles at WHSmith News from 1997 to 2002, including Planning & Development Manager, SAP Development Accountant, SAP Implementation Project, and General Ledger Accountant.

James began their career as a Group Accountant at ICI plc in 1994. Overall, their experience spans across finance, accounting, strategic advisory, and management roles in various industries.

James Cody completed their education as follows:

From 1982 to 1987, they attended All Hallows and obtained O Levels in Mathematics, English, Biology, Geography, Physics, and Computer Science.

In 1988 and 1989, they pursued A Levels in Economics at Alton College.

Beginning in 1993 and finishing in 1994, they attended BPP and earned a degree in Accountancy, specifically AAT.

Lastly, from 1995 to 1997, they continued their education at BPP and obtained a degree in Accountancy, specifically CIMA.
