Emily Kapteyn

Emily Kapteyn has a comprehensive background in analytical chemistry and quality assurance within the pharmaceutical and cannabis industries. Currently serving as a QA Lab Compliance Supervisor, Technical and Scientific Writer, and Analytical Chemist at AtomVie Global Radiopharma Inc. since August 2022, Emily effectively utilizes Good Manufacturing Practices and engages in stability testing and quality control for radiopharmaceutical products. Previously, Emily worked as an Analytical Chemist at the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization, focusing on method validation and quality control protocols for HPLC methods. Early experience includes roles as an Analytical Scientist at Rapid Dose Therapeutics where analytical programs were established for natural health and cannabis products, and a Research Assistant at McMaster University developing and purifying recombinant proteins. Emily holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from McMaster University, complemented by additional education at Mohawk College.
