Kate Stafford

Kate Stafford is the Director of Cheminformatics at Atomwise. Kate received their PhD in Chemistry from UC Berkeley in 2006 and did their postdoctoral work at UCSF from 2014 to 2017. Prior to their work at Atomwise, they were a Scientific Associate at D. E. Shaw Research from 2006 to 2008.

Kate Stafford received their Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Biology, Chemistry. Kate then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy from Columbia University in the City of New York in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics.

Kate Stafford reports to Henry Van Den Bedem, VP, ML Cheminformatics & Research. They work with and Gregory Ho - Senior Associate, Research. Some direct reports include Michael Mysinger - Principal Scientist, Cheminformatics, Srimukh Prasad - Scientist, Cheminformatics, and Dirk Tomandl - Principal Scientist, Cheminformatics.
