Sameer Arora

Sameer Arora is the current Industry Head of Manufacturing at Atos Syntel. Sameer has held this position since October 2018. Prior to this, they were the head of strategy and corporate development for Syntel Inc. from April 2006 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company strategy and business model synergy discussions during the management presentation and due diligence phase of the transaction for the acquisition of Syntel Inc. by Atos group for $ 3.4 Billion. Sameer was also a member of the core team involved in the 2018 acquisition of Syntel Inc. by Atos group for $ 3.4 Billion and led the Marketing & Communications work stream to conduct an organization wide rebrand from Syntel to Atos Syntel during the integration.

Sameer Arora has a Bachelor of Engineering from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute (VJTI), Bombay University, and a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Sameer also has a Higher Secondary Certificate from Ramnivas Ruia Junior College, Bombay, and a Secondary School Certificate from Don Bosco High School, Matunga, Bombay.

Sameer Arora reports to Rakesh Khanna, CEO. Sameer Arora works with Julien Bensaid - Industry Head of Telecom, Media & Technology, Esteban Herrera - Industry Head of Public Sector & Defense and Head – North America, and Jan Schaumburg - Head of Central Europe.
