Dan Jigoria-Oprea

Dan Jigoria-Oprea is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and academia. Currently serving as Senior Product Manager and Strategic Product Manager for Base & Technology at ATOSS Software SE since April 2018, Dan has held multiple roles within the company, enhancing product strategies and leading teams. Prior to this, Dan contributed to the field of education as an Assistant Professor at Politehnica University of Timisoara from September 2012 to March 2018, teaching courses in Power Systems, Renewable Energy, and various programming languages, while conducting research in renewable energy integration and optimization. Dan's engineering experience includes a role at HIDROTIM SA focusing on photovoltaic power plants from April 2011 to January 2013 and previously served as a Teaching Assistant at Universitatea 'Politehnica' Timisoara. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Power Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Universitatea Politehnica din Timisoara, along with a high school diploma in Information Technology.
