Dr. Smriti Thakur

Dr. Smriti Thakur, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist at Atotech Group, where responsibilities include the development of decorative and functional coatings for automotive components and the formulation of metal chemistries for various applications. Prior to this role, Dr. Thakur was a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing, focusing on catalyst stability for automotive applications, and a Senior Project Scientist at IIT Mandi, where expertise in photo-lithography processes was developed. Dr. Thakur earned a PhD in Materials Science and an MS in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, as well as a BEd in Science from Kurukshetra University and a BSc (Hons.) in Chemistry from Delhi University.
