Corey Shannon

Corey Shannon is a Senior Data Scientist at The Chemours Company since April 2020, specializing in the migration of manufacturing IoT data to Azure Synapse and the development of models to enhance product yield and quality across six plant sites. Previous experience includes a role as Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Cyber 20/20 Inc, where Corey implemented a terabyte-scale ETL pipeline and developed highly accurate malware classification models. Corey’s background also includes a position as a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., focusing on data visualization and Agile practices, and as a Data Research Analyst at the University of Delaware, developing machine learning models for malware classification. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Delaware, earned in 2016.
