Colonel Richard L. Teters, Jr. retired in 1998, after 30 years active duty in the US Army. His demonstrated proficiencies lie in strategic management and leadership, finance and accounting, and sales and marketing. Upon his retirement he became a professor of management at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Georgia, with expertise in project management, leadership, and entrepreneurship. While at Kennesaw State he concurrently served as the Director, The Center for Industrial Collaboration (CIC). As the director of the CIC, and as a Knowledge Capitalist, he evaluated over 400 science and technological innovations, and took an active role in assisting in the commercialization of more than 20 technologies. As an entrpreneur he has served in the capacity of president of two high tech start ups. He is currently the Managing Director of The SciTek Group, LLC, and pursuing doctoral studies in entrepreneurial leadership.
